Sam, a young imaginative twelve year-old boy, heads off to camp with his Cub Scouts pack. He soon stumbles upon a mysterious treehouse and meets a shifty, masked feral-looking child. When Sam tries to warn his leaders, they ignore him. As Sam gets more and more isolated from the other scouts, he becomes convinced that a terrible fate awaits them...

This gritty and dreamy twist on a boy-meets-girl is set at a juvenile detention centre. A stuttering introvert boy has come to serve his mandatory civil service while the girl is an attractive extrovert in custody. They soon realise that they share a fire and a disregard for rules, laws and convention.

As Eastern Anatolian village tradition requires, 27 year old Medine must serve oven-roasted lamb at her five year old son Mert’s circumcision feast. Poor but determined. Medine puts the family to work cutting branches to earn something towards the price of the sheep they need. Ismail, Medine’s unemployed husband, is worried by his wife’s assertive behaviour.
